"Sports and Society" Video Series Programs and Participants

Note that each program in the series is designed so that it can be used independently of the others. When the programs are used together, the series constitutes a broad examination of sports and society.

Each program is hosted by Robert Mertzman, award winning producer of educational television programs and adjunct instructor in the School of Physical Education and Exercise Science at the University of South Florida. Professor Mertzman introduces each program and provides discussion summaries, as well as a closing perspective.

Produced from hours of personal interviews by Professor Mertzman, combined with excerpts from lively panel discussions and keynote presentations recorded at "The Summit: The First International Conference on Ethics and Sport", the viewer becomes a participant in a "virtual conference" on sports and society.
